Psychiatric Care & Medication Management
Evaluation, diagnosis, and ongoing medication management for depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, PTSD, ADHD, and cognitive changes in older adults.
Learn moreWhole-person psychiatric and family primary care from a dual-certified nurse practitioner. In-clinic, in-home, and via telehealth to assisted living communities across the region.
Ann Bacher's path to psychiatric care didn't start in a clinic. It started in the Marine Corps, moved through the controlled chaos of emergency rooms, and settled — deliberately — into the slower, harder work of caring for the whole person over time.
After two decades in nursing, she pursued dual board certification as both a Family and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner because she kept seeing the same thing: patients whose bodies and minds were being treated by different people who never spoke to each other. She built The Balanced Wellness to close that gap.
Today her practice centers on the people most easily overlooked — residents of assisted living facilities, older adults managing complex medications, and families who need one clinician who sees the whole picture.
— Rooted, steady, and easy to talk to.
